Gothic Pickup lines

For the most part pickup lines tend to be just boring and unimaginative quips hardly worth any notice. Of course goths, fitting in with the habbit of not being able to do anything right, use or receive pickup lines which are unusual to the extent that they tend to be either cases of exceptional wit, or more often than not, examples of pure unbridled cheese.

This fact alone justifies the creation of an archive to document the litteraly hundreds of examples of the gothic pickup line.

Some of the lines are bitter commenarty about what idiots are out there.
Some lines are nice and sweet and caused two people to get together.
Most are somewhere inbewteen the two.

Just about all these pick up lines have been taken from the many recurring threads on alt.gothic, upg, and friends. I've tried to include commentary about the situations surrounding the lines, and which ones worked and how.

If you're in a hurry or have a slow connection, there is a quick list of everything. Otherwise the stuff is broken up into 4 pages:
