Fade in to a gridlocked road somewhere in North London. Nic, Shawnee, Pete and Kara are sitting in Pete's car, parked at the side of the road. Nic is in the driver's seat and trying to find a break in the traffic so they can move on.

Kara: Nic Gibson, this time you have gone too far. (Pete gives her a nasty look) No, I will not be quiet, Pete. Why doesn't anyone listen to me?
Nic: (to Pete) Traffic should be letting up soon. Keep an eye out. I'll try to find something to do.
Nic starts paging though a Time Out.
Pete: Sure thing.
Kara: I really don't see how thats going to help. A night in with a good video is a perfectly acceptable alternative in extreme circumstances. A new episode of "Friends" is...
Shawnee turns around and shushes Kara, mid-sentence.
Nic: Thank you.
Shawnee: What did you have in mind for our next move?
Nic: Well, if we're lucky, traffic will let up and we can pull out onto the street, then we just drive away.
Shawnee: With the rest of the traffic. Then what?
Nic: Then we've got to find something to do around here. Got any ideas?
Shawnee: No. Where are we?
Nic: The Kilburn area.
Shawnee: Kilburn. There's not much there.
Nic: No. Well, wait. This is interesting. Full Tilt.
Nic points to an ad in the Time Out. Shawnee moves out of her seat a little closer to get a look at what Nic's reading.
Shawnee: Full Tilt club?
Nic: Full Tilt's not a club, it's a night at the Electric Ballroom. It's got Goth, Rock, Punk, and Indie. You'd like it.
Shawnee: Thanks.
Nic: Camden Town. It's pretty far, but I think we can make it.
Shawnee: (reading from the ad) DJs Sab, Rex, and Darren?
Nic: Yeah, one of the few things to do on a Friday night. The DJs are fairly good. I used to go there way back.
Shawnee: Can you trust them?
Nic: No. But they have no love for the popular music scene, I can tell you that.
Pete: (from the back seat) Hey, traffic's letting up.
Nic: Here we go, Pete. Stand by. Let's go!
Nic pulls the car out onto the street, heading off towards Camden Town. As they pass the worst of the traffic, Nic relaxes in his seat and gives Shawnee an invisible smile. She thinks for a moment, shakes her head; a grin creeps across her face and she gives him a quick kiss.
Shawnee: You do have your moments. Not many, but you have them.

Fade out

Fade in to outside the Electric Ballroom. Nic stands at the head of the queue arguing with the person selling ticks in the booth.

Nic: No, I don't have a membership. The flyer says four pounds before eleven thirty.
The bouncers nearby begin to get antsy and start walking toward Nic and the others. Shawnee looks worried.
Nic: Whoa! Wait a minute! Let me explain.
Ticket person: You will pay the full price for the lot of you.
Kara: Rather touchy, aren't they?
Shawnee: I thought you'd been here before.
Pete clears his throat and gives Nic a knowing look.
Nic: (to Pete) Well, that was a long time ago. I'm sure they've forgotten about that.
Ticket person: Alright, here's your tickets. You can go inside after you've all been frisked.
Nic: Thank you.
Angry, Nic gives them twenty pounds. The group enters and gets frisked by the bouncers.
Nic: There's nothing to worry about. I'm sure we'll have a good time.
Shawnee doesn't look convinced.
Shawnee: Who's worried?
