Books: Rarely indulge these days, but fictionwise Poppy Z Brite and Tanith Lee can get through to me. Lots of stuff about Celts and Paganism and that sort of thing are on my bookshelf, Barry Cunliffe, Miranda Green and Ronald Hutton are worthwhile contemporary authors.
Movies: Can't be arsed going out to watch them but I set the video for Hollywood gothic/comic book sorta stuff. Darkman, Barb Wire, Batman, Addams Family spring to mind.

Television shows: Buffy, Angel, American Wrestling (it's an artform), Bill and Ben (for the psychedelic subplot), Mona the Vampire, Corrie, League of Gents, TOTP on video so I can FF through the crap acts, the Simpsons. Oh and anything with Doon McKichan in.
Songs: an absolute fave, impossible to tell, Simon & Garfunkel's Ämerica" maybe or Meatloaf "Paradise by a Dashboard Light" even "Stairway to Heaven", very mood dependent. When I'm seriously seriously drunk it's Rod Stewart's Every Picture LP(onCD now) and Pogues' Rum, Sodomy & the Lash.
