Occupation: Er - technically Ph.D. student in Computer Science, although that bears little relationship to what I actually do with my time...

Books: Hmm - The Hobbit. Dilbert books, Conan-Doyle, Tad Williams, and whatever's lying around. I do read quite a lot despite that short list
Movies: Dark City, The Princess Bride, Indiana Jones, Labyrinth. Some others too.
Poems: Umm... there's a couple I like by some guy called 'Anon.'
Television shows: Buffy, Angel, Frasier
Songs: You Walk In My Soul - Gary Numan, Home - The Cure, lots of others

Places to visit: Morecambe Maybe not. Anywhere not too modern and built-up. The tarn near Haweswater reservoir in the lake district is worth visiting.
Food: The Asda super-muffin (high in fat, high in calories), greasy chicken crap from KFC, Pancakes, and marmite on toast.
Colours: Black. Faded black. Just plain grey. and a bit of red and blue for contrast.
Drinks: Cider, vodka (Ursus brand) and coke.

What's the motto you adhere to: I can't remember. I'm sure I had one. Er... I'll go with 'If something's too hard, it's not worth doing' for the moment.
What is your personal stupid human trick: I have naturally pointy teeth, and I can kind of pull my bottom lip behind the canines. That's pretty stupid.
What do you want to be doing 10 years from now: Much the same as I am now (i.e. not a lot) only getting more money for it
What is the one thing/skill that you do not have now that you wished you possessed: Thing = a much bigger living space. This one's full. Skill = the ability to think of witty answers to questions like this when I can't think of an actual one.

What do you think is the worst thing about you: My inability to remember that damn motto
What do you value most in a friend: sincerity, and er... a whole bunch of other hard to specify stuff. Friendship sums it up though.
How do you picture upg: As a dog. I don't know why. Maybe it's chasing its tail.
