Books: Right now I have a huge backlog. I have a friend who thinks I'm slowly reading his copy of The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson, but doesn't realise I dropped it in the bath. I was brought up on The Hitchhiker's Guide, and Mission Earth, the author of which went on to start one of the most successful religious cults in the US.
Movies: Ooh, I don't know. Recently The Matrix was fun. Brazil and Bladerunner both caught my attention, as did the John Hurt version of Nineteen Eighty-Four. I'm also training to be a Jedi Knight, like my father before me.
Poems: My whole life is poetry
Television shows: South Park
Songs: Presently comes down to Atari Teenage Riot II, Christian Says (Tones On Tail), That'a All (KMFDM - for the poptastic chorus) and the Rhys Fulber remix of Worlock (Skinny Puppy). If I had to choose my present favourite music video, though, it'd undoubtably go to Blur.
Bands/musicians: Skinny Puppy, LPD, Rosetta Stone, Newt, Neubauten, PWEI, Placebo, Switchblade Symphony, Curve, bit of Evils Toy, and most of the obvious g/i stuff I guess. Oh yeah, I recently dusted off some Faith No More. :o)
Board games: No idea. I used to do a lot of the Games Workshop stuff.
Computer games: I played NetHack/GNOMEHack the other week. The last PC game I really got into was Quake II.
Other games: Hmm... occasional role-playing game, though I've not done any this year.
Magazines: Computing, Anthony Johnston Monthly, etc. Probably resubscribe to Tomb Raver soon. Sometimes buy Fortean Times, Bizarre, Alternative Press, NME, MM, Rock Sound. Anything intellectshull.
Places to visit: I'm going to the pub tonight.
Food: Cheese. Pineapple. Cheese with pineapple. Cajun style aubergines. More cheese.
Colours: infra-red
Drinks: Tea, coke, Red Bull, Hooch, any half-decent lager. Recently discovered Blavod black vodka for bonus Goth Points (tm).

How long have you been reading UPG: since it started, on & off
What has been your favorite thread on UPG: Can't remember. I just want Mel to reproduce his amusing .sigs again.
What are some of your hobbies: Making little rockets that shoot up into the sky.
What's the motto you adhere to: "It's not safe to hope for the best, without preparing for the worst."
What's is your personal stupid human trick: The last party I was at I managed to escape from a straight jacket. I don't think it counts as a 'personal trick' though until I prove I can repeat it.
What do you want to be doing 10 years from now: Hidden away from the rat race, tending after two jellyfish (Jello and Chud) in their own custom- built tank.
What is the one thing/skill that you do not have now that you wished you possessed: A car I saw in an Iron Man comic, where you press a button and the wheels flip over and turn into jets, allowing you to fly over any traffic. Pretty cool, huh?
What do you think is your best asset: I'm a Team Player. :o)
What do you think is the worst thing about you: Existential uncertainty.
What do you value most in a friend: Forgiving me for dropping their copy of The Diamond Age in the bath. That, and honesty.
How do you picture UPG: Best left unsaid.
Do you have another question: Why did I type all this in?
