*sigh*. Right...there are a few things in life which get me annoyed. Not angry, just..a bit annoyed. If you don't know me and you've happened upon this site and would like to post me a load of whinging mindless drivel because you've read about me and assumed you know me well enough for a character assassination, I should like to point out the following (I'll go slow and in easy language as I know some of you recent mail posters can barely spell):
Subject Number 1 - (To the Narrow minded people)
I am willing to accept anyone else's lifestyle/musical
tastes/whatever, why is it that so many people find this so hard? I live
in a big multicultural city (the second biggest city in England no less),
it constantly amazes me how many narrow minded individuals me and my friends
encounter here. WHY should I have to put up with derogatory comments on
the way I dress and the places I choose to socialise? WHY should my male
friends be beaten up for looking unconventional? I'm not just talking goths,
most 'alternative' people suffer the same. Why is it always black and white,
isn't it the shades of grey that make life more interesting?!
Subject Number 2 - (To those who might like to believe I practice 'the black arts')
Argghhhh...wake up! The witch hunts are over. I'm agnostic actually, not that it's any of your business. Makes me laugh how many comments I get on this sort of thing. I like people of all religeons...especially when they don't try to shove their beliefs down my throat.
Subject
Number 3 - (To people who leave rude guestbook entries)
Don't e-mail me vile suggestive messages, it's not
funny and it's not clever (and I laugh at you) and don't leave pathetic
messages on my guestbook cos I'll just take them off again, or did you not
know I could do that?. Saddo's! Especially the ones who leave messages saying
what they'd like to do to me. I'm not sure if you think I should take it
as a compliment but if you do, I'd say you have a lot to learn about women!!
Get out of the house more. I also liked the recent one telling me I'm pathetic
cos I don't travel to goth events all ofer the UK and beyond. Since when
did being well travelled make you a better goth, or a better person?!
Oh yes, and if you are going to attempt an insult at least try to spell
it properly.
Subject
Number 4 - (To Spooky Kids and those who assume we are 'all the same')
I don't care about YOUR dodgy musical tastes, really I don't (mine are probably dodgier anyway) but please.....try to refrain from eyeliner that's trowel applied, wearing dodgy T-shirts with f*** Satan on them etc. It's not clever and it won't really offend your mom. It's not a look that will stay with you past 21 really is it.
Subject
Number 5 - (To 'Cyber Goths')
Cyber
is not goth..... I don't have a problem with people who choose to 'go cyber'
(yes, shut up silly person that mailed me about this), I just don't think
that the two scenes have enough in common to have combined club nights,
the music is totally different, the fashions are totally different.
Further more If you think I dislike you 'cos you are a cyber' take note,
I undoubtabley would still dislike you had you been wearing velvet.
Subject Number 6 - (To vegans and vegetarians)
If I hear another debate on why everyone
else but you are evil people, I think I may scream. I might love a few veggies
but I don't want to be one....that's my right. Equally the mad meat eating
protesters can bugger off to. It's a boring debate with no easy solutions....just
shut up about it and eat your dinner.
Subject
Number 7 - (To the people who tell me I'm thin when I've put on weight)
People think they are making you feel better telling you you are thin when you don't feel it cos you've put on weight. If anything it's as bad as people telling others they are too fat. Weight is a personal issue to each and every person. If I have gained a few pound I want to be able to lose it again without being made to feel guilty. Thanks but keep it to your self.
People can be irritating
(I am), I can accept that. I don't ask for much
Right now go away...rant over.
