The 'Kingmaker Feast' is hosted at Warwick Castle and the basic idea is that you are at the last feast before you go into battle with the the Earl of Warwick (the Kingmaker) in the morning. They provide you with great entertainment. Lots of daft song some of which you sing too and banging of fists on tables to drum onm the next course of food. Oh yes, the food. The menu changes from time to time but this time we went they have vegetable soup and bread followed my cuts of meal and vegetables. It's all served on authentic (ish) looking platters etc and the food is old fashioned style (heavy breads etc). There are istrals to play to you while you dine and a man who comes onto the stage after each part of the meal and recounts tales of battle and makes jokes at the roudy ones. You know the sort of stuff. Good fun. Oh yes and it's free red snd white wine all night!!
