Well, I don't actually work. That is to say that I am currently a lazy, workshy fop, or unemployed if you like. when I am employed I'm usually a Computer/Systems/Network Administrator/Manager. The terms are pretty interchangable for usually the same job role. On the offchance that you want to give me a job. My cv can be found here. |

So what do I get up to? Well, being a bit of a Gothic Industrial Metalhead, I like to go out on the town and have a damn good moshing. That's clubbing without the casuals and the lager, lager, lager, lager, lager. I do like pubs; the local pubs in Greenwich are pretty cool, especially the locals 'Barley Mow', 'Morden Arms' and 'Fox and Firkin', but my favourite pubs in London tend to be the more alternative hang-outs such as the 'Intrepid Fox', 'Devonshire Arms', 'Windmill', Purple Turtle' and others. As for clubbing, well, where do I start? 'Rockscene at the Astoria' became my favourite club night after The Marquee closed down. It's a Rock/metal club, a bit too touristy, but still good nonetheless. Alas, that moved on to pastures new as well. 'Full Tilt at the Electric Ballroom' was the club of choice, as they seem to play a good mix of goth and industrial and even rock and metal bits and pieces, here and there. Then we have 'Slimelight'; the only decent club to go to on a Saturday night, playing goth and industrial. It's good because, being a members club, it tends to be very social and almost everybody knows or at least recognises everybody else. Last, and certainly not least, we have Malice Underground at Gossips where I currently have the priviledge of DJing every Tuesday night. Whitby also happens twice a year as well... |

When I'm not working or painting the town black, I'm usually stuck in Greenwich. I do spend probably far too much time in front of a computer, current game of choice being Baulder's Gate, and sometimes it can be a good reliever of boredom. As well as emailing people and perusing the newsgroups such as uk.people.gothic, I can also be found spending far too much time chatting on #gothic, on irc, as well as various talkers. I enjoy films; if there's nothing worth watching on television, there's a 'Blockbuster Video' just down the road as well as Greenwich Cinema which is a very good cinema at a pretty cool price. The other thing I devote time to is reading, specifically Science Fiction, I can't get enough of the stuff. At the moment I'm ploughing through everything by Iain M Banks, but I've read stuff by just about any popular Sci-Fi author you could name. |
